The candidates need to focus. We believe there is one primary cause of America’s current problems. It isn’t Wall Street. It isn’t Main Street. It isn’t corruption. Quite simply, it is dependency on foreign oil and natural resources.

There are many nations we purchase oil from; they are not all rogue. But what nations have led to problems for the US and yet still profit from selling us their oil directly or indirectly? Iran, and for every barrel we purchase, we support their nuclear endeavor. Saudi Arabia, where most of the 9/11 terrorists were born. Russia, which is now invading Georgia.

Now we even talk about attacking Iran or defending Georgia when it is OUR OIL money that is supporting Iran and Russia.

We are allies of Israel. It puts us at odds with ourselves and our own policies supporting Israel while we depend on her worst enemies for the bulk of our oil.

We realize that we purchase much or our oil from allies and local nations. Please read our series on natural resources to find out who we depend on the most for our oil, but even those nations have seen their currencies advance strongly in the face of our dollar’s collapse as our economy weakens and our deficit rises.

This election could still go either way, but the advantage is currently with Obama. We believe, however, there are many closet voters just waiting for their opportunity to elect McCain instead. It is popular to say you are for Obama, or to just hate Bush, but we believe that many Americans that take these positions are really not in favor of Obama’s policies, inexperience and lack of spending discipline.

When Clinton ran for President the first time, he came up with a slogan. It narrowed the issues and allowed America to identify with his ideals and his campaign. That slogan was, “It’s the economy stupid”. It focused his objectives and gathered a nation around him to fix our economic problems.

We face a myriad of problems, but most have been brought on by our dependency on foreign oil.

1. 9/11 brought on by our presence in the Middle East to protect our interests with respect to foreign oil.
2. War in Afghanistan against the Taliban.
3. Two attacks on Iraq, the second of which led to occupation. There is little doubt that many consider this a war over oil. Well, if we didn’t need their oil, it wouldn’t be an issue, would it?
4. A huge Federal deficit.
5. More pollution outside the US because we don’t use our own advanced technologies to tap the resources we need.

It’s energy independence, stupid!

Nancy got to eat crow today when Democrats were forced to offer tax cuts to get a bill passed that was already earmarked for success, all because she couldn’t keep her mouth shut. Read on folks, this is exactly the opposite of how adults act.

After Democrats and Republicans had spent days working together on a bipartisan bill to avert a national financial disaster, Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi took the low road in Congress in order to promote her Democratic agenda. Rather than congratulating the Congress for their bipartisan effort, she took the opportunity to instead bash George Bush for what she claimed were “reckless economic policies, fiscal irresponsibility and an anything goes policy”. After we heard the shrew’s comments, we could never vote for Obama. It demonstrates the Democrats have no concept of bipartisan cooperation.

After the bill failed to pass, Nancy then ironically stood with the founder of all our current problems, Barney Frank, Representative from Massachusetts. Barney (Rubble) Frank claimed the Republicans voted against the plan because Nancy had hurt their feelings.

We ask you Barney, how would you have reacted if the Republicans referred to you as a child abuser that used your influence to prevent regulation in 2003 that could have prevented this crisis. Awww, did we hurt your feelings Barney?

Nancy showed she is an amateur and was not interested in America or the plan. She was only interested in getting her chance to take a cheap shot. Her objective was to provoke a negative response, and if she thinks we cannot see right through her motivation, she is more stupid than she looks and more childish than she acts.

Nancy and Barney demonstrate that the liberals and Democrats are still bitter children that haven’t recovered from getting beaten in the last elections. They prove in their actions they could never cooperate with Republicans to reach any positive results for America. We are glad to see it, because the more they demonstrate their childish behavior, the less likely they will get America’s votes in November.

If we were running McCain’s campaign, we would get out a commercial immediately. We would show Nancy making a fool of herself and Barney lecturing people in 2003 to defeat regulations on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac that could have averted this crisis.

Nancy has pushed these moderates to the right.

We have watched the web become a slingshot for the liberal press to fling articles at us bashing the Republicans and anything non-liberal.

We have watched the web become a slingshot for the liberal press to fling articles at us bashing the Republicans and anything non-liberal. Honestly, we expect the web, with outlets like the HuffingtonPuffingtonPost to be completely biased against McCain and anything non-liberal, but CNN has gone overboard with their liberal tactics. They have totally reversed the facts in this article…

If McCain or his camp stood up and said these same things after being bashed repeatedly by the Obama camp and the liberal press, CNN would have used a title like, “McCain Can’t Take It”, or “Palin’s Crying Smears Her Lipstick”. The writers at CNN act like a bunch of children.

They are using a quote from an Obama advisor to state that McCain is dirty in his attacks on Obama? Fact is,from what we are reading, it is just the opposite. Throughout our newspapers and all over the web all we see are attacks on McCain and Palin. We haven’t even decided on who to vote for for president yet, but when we post any article on our website that favors McCain in any way over Obama, even if Obama’s position is a joke, we receive a string of hate mail and insults. When we criticize McCain, we hear nothing at all. They (the McCain camp), apparently, can take the criticism and move on while the liberals are apparently a slew of cry babies.

From what we can gather, the liberals believe a criticism of Obama is an attack, but a criticism of McCain is informational. The comments in the CNN article are bitter and childish and they aren’t being made by McCain or his camp! They are quotes from Obama and his. In fact, we can’t find one quote in the article that is a specific McCain attack against Obama, but we see quote after quote of insulting attacks from Obama.

Obama needs to be less of a cry baby and more of a man if he wants to get elected President. CNN and the other liberal outlets should try it. A bit of non-biased writing might help their image.

Let us know if McCain calls Obama on being a Muslim and we will believe Obama is more than a cry baby campaigner. In the meantime, Obama said he was a Muslim all by his lonesome. He didn’t need McCain’s help.

Now, how does a candidate give you the warm feeling you need to make sure you don’t leave a chad hanging when you vote? To totally commit to a candidate, you have to believe in the entire package. So, they feed you a package, with the edge taken off of each primary issue.

The problem is that by the time November comes around, you really don’t know what you are voting for or against, so you tend to vote your party, which you may have chosen because your father was a member of that party, or maybe because he wasn’t!! Perhaps it is your current group of friends, or maybe it is the persuasion of a particular set of folks that convince you, or maybe you even just make the decision in five minutes over a glass of wine.

But the fact of the matter is most people that vote for President, do not understand half the issues when they make their selection. It is not because they lack intelligence, and we have been as guilty as the rest. It is where we focus our time. The selection of President is clearly critical to the nation, but so is paying the bills, dealing with taxes, and taking care of your children. How much time is there in a day? Is it possible that we allow the hyperbole of the election to drive our selection, and is it any surprise that quite often it is the candidate raising the most money that gets our vote in the same way the brand name products get placed in our shopping cart?

We are going to attack the issues one at a time between now and the election and pin down the candidates on their side. We ask for your inputs where you feel we are wrong or right. And we want to determine, one by one, which man is the better selection for President.

We do ask you that you realize one primary issue. No matter what ideals the candidate holds and how many promises they make, they will not and cannot keep them all. Most are ideals they hold that allow you to identify with them. Many will turn out to be a lost cause and seem like false hope. So another objective is to let you know where we feel the position your candidate is taking is likely a pipe dream and an ideal, but cannot happen in the real world.

We feel last night Senator McCain had an opportunity to lay out a clear direction for America. We believe he turned mostly to hyperbole and avoided the issues that face America, and because of this, his speech failed. Here are some primary issues from that speech and our replies.

We feel last night Senator McCain had an opportunity to lay out a clear direction for America. We believe he turned mostly to hyperbole and avoided the issues that face America, and because of this, his speech failed. Here are some primary issues from that speech and our replies.

1. We lost their (Americans) trust when instead of freeing ourselves from a dangerous dependence on foreign oil, both parties and Senator Obama passed another corporate welfare bill for oil companies. We lost their trust, when we valued our power over our principles.

Our Response: OK, we need to know what the heck you are talking about Senator. If a bill was passed that was a welfare bill for oil companies, what was it, and how will you have it repealed? That is a big issue, don’t gloss over it.

2. We believe everyone has something to contribute and deserves the opportunity to reach their God-given potential from the boy whose descendants arrived on the Mayflower to the Latina daughter of migrant workers. We’re all God’s children and we’re all Americans.

Our Reponse: Uh, no kidding. You are just paraphrasing the US Constitution. We are figuring the US citizens get that by now. But yet we appear to be doing everything we can to inhibit migration of new immigrants that could help this nation and economy going forward. That Latino daughter likely had parents that came to this country illegally because of the bureaucracy we create to block desirable immigrants from making our shores.

3. We believe in low taxes; spending discipline, and open markets. We believe in rewarding hard work and risk takers and letting people keep the fruits of their labor.

Our Response: OK, but there a policy in there somewhere right? These statements are too broad-based. Open Markets scare Americans because it has led to a huge migration of jobs out of the US and because we continually allow countries like China to export cheap, knock-offs of our products, often patented or name-brand products, to the US. Free trade is one thing. It means we do not charge duties and taxes on imports. But cheating trade is another. And those nations that continually hurt Americans do not deserve carte blanche access to our markets. Certainly, we want to keep the “fruits of our labor”, but we want to have jobs so there is some fruit!

4. We believe in the values of families, neighborhoods and communities.

Our Response: OK. But this is just filler right Senator?

5. My tax cuts will create jobs. His tax increases will eliminate them

Our Response: Senator. With all due respect, we have kept taxes low or cut them over the past eight years and destroyed our economy. We went from a nation in 2000 with a surplus to once again having a massive deficit. And despite all those tax cuts and Republican efforts, we are facing an economic meltdown as banks and mortgage companies fail.

6. My health care plan will make it easier for more Americans to find and keep good health care insurance. His plan will force small businesses to cut jobs, reduce wages, and force families into a government run health care system where a bureaucrat stands between you and your doctor.

Our Response: We fail to see how a health care system that pools the purchasing power of all Americans can hurt America. So far, the health care insurance companies are raking in unheard of revenues and profits, all the while telling us it is because the expense of health-care has gone up. Yes, it has, primarily because of these institutions that fight, not for health-care, but against paying for it while steadily raising premiums. On a regular basis, these insurance companies reject health-care claims for obscure reasons and make each and every American fight for every visit to their doctor or for every prescription. It is no longer up to your doctor to decide what is appropriate for your personal care; it is up to the insurance companies. That is not health-care. That amounts to insurance bean-counters trying to keep Americans from getting the care they pay for, and it has placed the US well behind curve in terms of quality nation-wide health-care.

In addition, your policy of removing the tax deduction for employer provided health-care benefits replacing it with a $5000 tax credit for family coverage is totally misguided. It penalizes people in higher cost of living areas. It also rewards only families, implying single people were not worth government’s time (remember, all men/women were created equal, the constitution says nothing about “married only”), and essentially does nothing to address the furious rise in the cost of health insurance. That is the true issue here. It comes down to how much we are charged for medical coverage, not the cost of health-care artificially inflated by these insurance companies.

For example, when I get a bill for a test from the hospital, it is three times what the insurance company has told the hospital they would approve. That is totally unfair to uninsured Americans, to pay many times the cost of the actual service and many times what large insurance companies pay for the same service. A simple law to ban this practice would assist greatly in the artificially increasing cost of health-care.

7. Cutting the second highest business tax rate in the world will help American companies compete and keep jobs from moving overseas.

Our Response: It is not the tax rate that drives companies out of America, it is the expense of labor. Our cost of living is higher, so we have to pay our workforce more money. You argue for free trade, but fail to protect us from cheap and often illegal knock off imports that damage those companies that support our jobs. If you want to support jobs in America, make it less profitable for companies to locate outside the US, take away their tax breaks and take away the ability of foreign companies to export knock-off products into the US so easily that one can purchase illegal copies of copyrighted software and patented products on the streets of New York 24 hours a day.

8. Doubling the child tax exemption from $3500 to $7000 will improve the lives of millions of American families. Reducing government spending and getting rid of failed programs will let you keep more of your own money to save, spend and invest as you see fit. Opening new markets and preparing workers to compete in the world economy is essential to our future prosperity.

Our Response: Again, you are discriminating against the unmarried man or woman. That does not improve their lives, it makes them pay for the children of others. We are all for reducing government spending, but so far, we haven’t seen a specific policy regarding that. Opening new markets for us internationally is great. The US Market is too open already. Free trade so far is better than “free” for other nations, but is very expensive for America and its labor force.

9. My opponent promises to bring back old jobs by wishing away the global economy. We’re going to help workers who’ve lost a job that won’t come back, find a new one that won’t go away.

Our Response: Words are cheap. This is repetitive nonsense we have heard before. Where are those jobs? We don’t want to wish away the global economy Senator, we want to make it a fair playing field, not just allowing foreign countries to steal from our investors while marketing illegal products in our nation. That is not free trade; that is stupid trade.

10. We will prepare them for the jobs of today. We will use our community colleges to help train people for new opportunities in their communities.

Our Response: Sounds good. But it implies you think that other nations aren’t already training their workforces as well, and as long as you make it more advantageous for them to steal work from America in a so-called global market place, they are doing the training cheaper and delivering cheaper labor, which is killing even trained jobs in America.

If we are going to do that, at least immigrate trained labor from other nations so those people can at least pay American taxes and support Social Security going forward, instead of wasting billions trying to fight off immigration.

11. Senator Obama wants our schools to answer to unions and entrenched bureaucracies. I want schools to answer to parents and students. And when I’m President, they will.

Our Response: More useless verbiage with no plan.

12. We must use all resources and develop all technologies necessary to rescue our economy from the damage caused by rising oil prices and to restore the health of our planet. It’s an ambitious plan, but Americans are ambitious by nature, and we have faced greater challenges. It’s time for us to show the world again how Americans lead.

Our Response: Here we agree with the Senator 100%. We are a “prima donna” nation that thinks we have the right to not use our resources as the rest of the world charges us for theirs. We think that by paying others to do the dirty work, we somehow brush off responsibility on them. We can no longer, with our massive deficit, continue to enrich the nations rich in oil resources. We have our own resources, we must find ways to tap them.

We as a nation cannot be responsible alone for the “health of the planet”. Our population is only 1/3 that of China, and that is only one other nation in the world. You speak of a global economy where the US takes all responsibility for “health of the planet” while you offer those countries taking advantage of cheap resources at the expense of the environment free trade with the US on a totally unfair playing field. We need to drill. We need to build better and more modern energy plants. We need to mine those resources available to us. If we do not, other nations will, we will pay them to do it, and they will not care about what they destroy in the process of taking our money.

We are done listening to speeches like this Senator. We want a plan. We want specifics. This speech was disheartening because it lacked content, it lacked a plan we can buy into, and it is clearly not going to get you elected president no matter how many years you spent in a prison camp.

We have a new idea. How about making Iraq the 51st US State? Wow, that is radical. Anybody with any guts out there?

Sarah Palin delivered an inspiring speech at the Republican National Convention that apparently drove the whining liberal press back under their rocks.

Sarah Palin delivered an inspiring speech at the Republican National Convention that apparently drove the whining liberal press back under their rocks.

The only retort this morning from the liberal side was that the speech was written by a former Bush speech writer. Isn’t it satisfying that even a speech writer for Bush can make these liberals look like fools when delivered from an inspiring leader like Sarah?

To the accusations about all her family flaws, Palin responded, “”Our family has the same ups and downs as any other.” So true and so simply put. All these liberal men bashing Sarah yesterday would look pretty stupid if their families were put under the microscope. Shoot, Clinton had an affair with Monica Lewinski, was accused of sexual abuse, lied to the Justice Department under oath, and the fact that Palin’s daughter is pregnant at 17 is fodder for these complete fools?

Another brilliant but simply stated rebuff of these liberal buffoons attacking her in the media…”Here’s a little news flash for all those reporters and commentators. I’m not going to Washington to seek their good opinion. I’m going to Washington to serve the people of this country!.” Believe us Sarah, these two faced news critics have a good opinion of everyone but a Republican. We loved Obama’s retort that he thinks you are a good candidate except that you likely share McCain’s policies. The way Obama waffles, you may actually have some of his too though.

Palin’s son is on his way to Iraq representing his country, and speaking of McCain, she said, “He’s a man who wore the uniform of this country for 22 years, and refused to break faith with those troops in Iraq who have now brought victory within sight. And as the mother of one of those troops, that is exactly the kind of man I want as commander in chief.”

While there are policies of Senator McCain’s we clearly disagree with, we were disgusted with the misogynistic attacks of male reporters from CNN, the Associated Press and other liberal outlets attacking Palin for issues that are just plain not relevant to the election at hand. We believe those attacks will backfire as each can be easily rebuffed and none have any relevance to her choice as the candidate for VP.

There was an attempt to make a comparison of Palin to Dan Quayle by the liberal media yesterday. To that we respond…we remember Dan Quayle. Dan Quayle was no friend of ours. And gentleman, Sarah Palin is NO Dan Quayle. She is eloquent, sharp and strong and she won’t stand by idly and take sexual abuse from liberal or conservative men. As Palin put it, “What’s the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull? …Lipstick.”

None of the words from the following speech are ours. They are entirely from Former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani and his speech. We were so moved by it and got such a good laugh at the end that we felt we had to share it with those of you that missed it.

Bill Clinton was the champion at never taking a position, the ultimate waffler. Giuliani pins Obama down for the same tactics and shows his muster.

“Senator McCain was the candidate most associated with the Surge and it was unpopular.

What do you think most most other politicians would have done in McCain’s position? They would have acted in their own self-interest; they would have changed their position, in order to win an election.

How many times have we seen Barrack Obama do this?

Obama promised to take public financing for his campaign until he broke his promise.

Obama was against wire-tapping before he voted for it.

When speaking to a pro-Israeli group, Obama favored an undivided Jerusalem… Well, he favored an undivided Jerusalem for one day, until he changed his mind.

Well, I will tell ya, if I were Joe Biden, I would want to get that VP thing in writing.”

How pathetic can these liberal news outlets get? They print total diatribe with no backing or evidence of their claims, or use other liberal outlets as their evidence.

Worse, they make irrational claims against Sarah Palin as though they had anything to do with her personally or her ability to act as Vice President. A DUI charge as a college student?? The charge was NOT against her mind you, but her husband. OK, here is how their logic works.

20 years ago, Palin should have never gotten married being prescient enough to know her husband would have a DUI, and she would 20 years hence be nominated as a VP Candidate. After all Billy Clinton didn’t inhale, right??!! And he only accepted oral sex from Monica, so he couldn’t have gotten her pregnant. And all he did was lie to the Justice Department, while he was the freakin’ President!!

Can these reporters on the Associated Press and CNN be any bigger imbeciles? You would think Sarah had the DUI last week and was herself pregnant with her father’s child!

And a pregnant daughter is reason for such ridiculous statements. Is Sarah a condom? Should she have endorsed abortion for her daughter as the liberal CNN Democrats espouse. We are sure they would love that decision.

One of CNN’s reporters, Jack Cafferty, makes this negative one-sided liberal useless tirade against Palin. The twisted pig logic Cafferty uses by saying her husband was once the member of a group where “SOME MEMBERS” believe in secession from the union. That is like saying you belong to a fishing club and some people in the group believe in abortion, so that makes Sarah Palin a supporter of abortion! It is all twisted nonsense only a liberal idiot like Cafferty could construe.

Then Jack Cafferty claims to be a liberal while making rude comments about Palin’s pregnant daughter. We believe Cafferty a chauvinist pig that does not believe in the rights of women to their bodies or to make their own decisions regarding conception. In fact, we believe Cafferty and CNN believe Bristol should have called him personally for advice before she conceived!

As with most liberals, they are liberal only when it is convenient for them. Roe vs. Wade only applies to liberal women, no other women have rights. Find one women printing this bulls**t on CNN. Give us one. Just men judging women!! That was liberal of you CNN. Maybe you should change from C-N-N to P-I-G?

Today it was confirmed that Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol, is pregnant and is carrying the child of an alien from the planet Neptune. This unacceptable conception could only have occurred if the girl was descended from Republican parents, and this is exacerbated by the fact that the alien is not a Christian and is in favor of the Democratic position of allowing women to murder unborn fetuses for stem cell research!

It has been determined that Bristol conceived the child while abducted and on the alien spaceship, but it is the belief of liberal extremists that her mother should have prevented the act by ensuring she was abducted along with her daughter or traveled to Neptune to purchase her own space ship to protect her daughter by acting as a contraceptive. We agree. Aliens are slimy. You should never leave your daughter alone with one.

Back to reality, we have read so much nonsense online on various blogs and forums regarding Sarah Palin since she got nominated, we are starting to think that if she were black like Obama, they would be saying she got the pigment in her skin by mating with a dry erase marker.

We are getting sick of all the nonsense. What is it about liberals that they have to create so much total idiotic nonsense and innuendo about a person? This is especially true, when most of what we are seeing is written by men accusing a WOMAN of irresponsibility with respect not even to her own body but that of another woman. What would a man know about a woman’s rights to her body? And aren’t liberal men supposedly in favor of a woman having exclusive rights to her body? Apparently not if she is Republican.

One argument we were presented with today was that Palin is an extremist and an evangelical Christian. This man actually stated that it was “hypocritical” of Sarah Palin to have “allowed” her daughter to get pregnant!! Not only didn’t he understand her religious background, he was totally ignorant of women in general and the process of conception. Last we checked, sperm and ova do not check with the grandmother first.

The ignorance is astounding, but what is even more astounding is the length to which these liberal extremists will go. We are seeing claims that are downright idiotic. One claim on the Television Without Pity Forum implied that Sarah Palin should have googled a medical opinion, and disagreed with her own pediatrician’s advice. When another contributor called them on their nonsense, the forum actually suspended the user for defending women’s rights!!

Now, don’t these individuals and liberal outlets understand that if any of what they are trying to claim is true, it would have been revealed already by a number of Republicans in Alaska that were exposed by Palin for illegitimate dealings in the first place? I don’t think they love the fact she kicked their Republican butts!!

Let’s think about the rumors and accusations so far:

1. Palin’s latest daughter is actually the child of her eldest daughter. To believe such stupidity, you would have to believe every doctor and every person they know in the world lied on their behalf. And of course, you have to start getting into the “We didn’t really land on the moon” or “The Holocaust never occurred” mentality, because you are one step away from total stupidity and prejudice.

2. That a photograph of Sarah Palin’s daughter at the proper angle was exclusive and conclusive evidence that her daughter Bristol had been pregnant rather than just having exited an all you can eat buffet.

3. That all the pictures of Sarah Palin pregnant were fabricated. She was carrying a pillow for months apparently.

4. Palin was already pregnant when she got married two decades ago. And what that has to do with this rumor we have no idea.

5. One woman claims to share a doctor with Sarah Palin. She says she thinks the baby is hers because she doesn’t believe their doctor would lie on behalf of Sarah Palin because everyone in town knows that Sarah Palin is insane.

OK, we have had about enough. This is getting so stupid and if the liberal camp, other than the only sane person in it, the Democratic Presidential candidate, does not realize how damaging it can get for the Democratic party falsifying rumors against a woman and her child, we have to believe that McCain will be elected, because Obama will be obliterated due to his association with total imbeciles.

Senator John McCain has a plan for healthcare that is out of touch with reality because it totally ignores the cost of healthcare, and it does not take into consideration cost of living differences.

McCain’s plan is to offer a $5000 refundable tax credit (what a rebate?) to families to help pay for healthcare. That sounds pretty good until you hear he is including the elimination of the exemption of employer-provided healthcare from income taxes.

Most plans that cover a family cost well in excess of $1000 a month in the US, and sometimes much more in areas that have a higher cost of living. So, if on average, one pays $15000 for healthcare a year and gets a $5000 credit, it would only be marginally different from getting the tax deduction in the first place. Anyone that pays more due to the cost of living would actually pay more taxes because their medical benefit would be taxed as income! This is inherently unfair and could push people towards the Obama camp, especially those in areas with a higher cost of living.

Even some groups that favor better health coverage for their union members are backing away from McCain. The United Mine Workers of America, for example, have endorsed the Democratic ticket specifically for this reason. “Mr. McCain’s plan would impose a tax on health care benefits that have been negotiated into employees’ contracts” said Cecil Roberts, union president.

A more fair plan, if McCain wishes to support commercial health care, is to require an increase in the taxes on profits from those companies providing healthcare. While many people believe that healthcare cost increases have hurt Americans, few have any idea how much they have benefited the US Healthcare Insurance companies such as Unitedhealth Group, Inc. the largest insurer in the US. Unitedhealth Group’s sales have steadily increased while their cost of revenue has dropped. It is good to know someone is benefiting from the high cost of health care, but not if our individual costs for that health care are to be taxed!

“I haven’t met her before, she seems like a compelling person. The fact that you’ve got a woman as the nominee, vice presidential nominee of one of the major parties, is one more hit against that glass ceiling,” Mr. Obama said.

Barack Obama does not seem to consider such a comment congratulating a woman for hitting up against their “glass ceiling” sexist. But perhaps he should consider that a black man has never been president, and he has his own glass barrier to break through. Implying that women face any greater a barrier seems to demonstrate a sexist bias towards women and possibly the reason Obama steered clear of Hillary Clinton when choosing his running mate. Perhaps two glass ceilings were one too many?

Geraldine Ferraro, the 1984 Democratic Vice Presidential candidate in the NYT story, terms Obama “terribly sexist.” And, as a result, she says she may not be able to cast her ballot for him. Ferraro went overboard here and we realize that. Obama could have steered clear of Hillary for a number of reasons, like not wanting a name bigger than life on the ticket alongside him or perhaps the vicious battle in the Democratic primary between the two. But when Democrats attack Republicans as sexist for choosing a woman as a Vice Presidental candidate, we cry foul.

Adam Serwer, an Obama supporter, but ultimately a nobody, took reverse sexism to a peak. Adam spoke out.

“Palin’s addition to the ticket takes Republican faux-feminism to a whole new level.” As Adam Serwer pointed out on TAPPED, “this is in fact a condescending move by the GOP. It plays to the assumption that disaffected Hillary Clinton supporters did not care about her politics — only her gender. In picking Palin, Republicans are lending credence to the sexist assumption that women voters are too stupid to investigate or care about the issues, and merely want to vote for someone who looks like them. As Serwer noted, it’s akin to choosing Alan Keyes in an attempt to compete with Obama for votes from black Americans.”

No Mr. Serwer, we believe it is people like you that clearly demonstrate your sexism and clear misunderstanding of what is intelligent. Are you saying that anyone that selects a woman as a candidate is condescending towards women unless that person is a Democrat? Women are being played for stupid, according to Mr. Serwer, because of course a woman should not have been selected, and women would be too smart to think a woman deserved to take office if not selected by Obama?

Serwer took the selection of a woman by the Republicans and made it all about gender in his attack, and it was shameful. According to his own writings Mr. Serwer is sexist and racist as well. He appears to think that any selection of a black man would be racist if not selected by a Democrat, and blacks would be therefore stupid to assume any black man should assume office if he were not a Democrat. Serwer has resorted to the sewer of commentary.

We are hoping that Mr. Serwer is not a sexist or a racist and suggest he resort to proof-reading his articles before he prints them. They insult both women and black men that do not agree with his politics.
