R&B singer Usher had a blast hanging out with Tom Cruise and Ridley Scott for his birthday, but the London dinner almost didn’t happen! It turns out the gathering he tweeted about on Oct. 13 was a coincidence.
The singer told “Extra’s” AJ Calloway that Cruise, his longtime friend, happened to be sitting right across from him at the restaurant. Soon enough, Tom invited Usher and a friend to join him and Ridley, and the conversation flowed from there. “Before you know it, three hours passed and we’re laughing and still having a good time…cakes came out… and wow, this is just the coolest birthday ever.”
