Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips is off to a great career! His first single “Home” reached #1 on the Hot Digital Songs and Hot Digital Tracks charts!
Season 1 winner, Kelly Clarkson has had a great summer as well. Her hit “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” reached the top spot on the Adult Contemporary Audience chart and the Adult 40 Recurrents chart. In July Kelly’s “Stronger” became the best-selling Idol single of all time! Her latest single, “Dark Side,” had success as well, reaching #1 on the Hot Dance Club Play chart.
Season 10′s Casey Abrams‘ self-titled debut album and Jessica Sanchez‘s “Journey to the Finale” both reached #1 on the Heatseekers chart.
Just counting finalists gives you a total of 67 charted Idols, but the number increases to 72 when you add non-finalists William Hung, Josiah Leming, Frenchie Davis, Chris Medina and Johnny Keyser.
