Season 8s second runner-up, Danny Gokey, is showing no signs of slowing down as 2009 wraps up. The country crooner kicks off his week of radio station visits on Wednesday, but first he is performing a show tonight. For just $10, fans can see Danny at the City Limits Saloon in Raleigh, North Carolina at 9:30 PM on December 4, 2009.

Meanwhile, Danny is working on his anticipated debut album and will be promoting his latest single, My Best Days Are Ahead of Me on the radio. The digital single for this track will become available on December 22, just in time for Christmas. Danny talked about the meaning of his new single and said, I love this song for what it stands for.
