Season 6 runner-up Blake Lewis released his sophomore album, Heartbreak on Vinyl, today. The inspiration behind the album is the fate of record stores in the music industry. Released via Tommy Boy Entertainment, Heartbreak on Vinyl, shows Blakes shift from pop-rock to dance-pop music. His decade in the dance scene inspired the album. Rodney Jerkins (who worked with Britney Spears and Lady Gaga) and Dave Aude (who worked with the Pussycat Dolls) produced the album with Blake.
The first single off the album, Sad Song, was released in July, and the music video for the track came out in September and features Season 8 semi-finalist Casey Carlson. You can watch the video, here.
