Chris Brown was sentenced Tuesday to five years of probation and six months of community labor in his home state of Virginia, and must enroll in a year-long domestic violence program as part of a plea deal for felony assault on Rihanna.

Judge Patricia Schnegg also issued a protective order, stating that Brown not harass, assault, threaten or even come within 100 yards of Rihanna until Aug. 25, 2014. The only exception is at industry events, where the distance is 10 yards.
